Mercury Marine 16147 Propeller Nut

Propeller nut 16147 can be used on Mercury and Mariner outboards 4 hp through 6 hp 4-stroke , 8 hp through 9.9 hp outboards (2005 and newer). See your owner’s manual for installation instructions, the Flo-Torq hub, thrust washers and prop nut part numbers to best fit your engine or drive with this propeller. • Must use the propeller nut to secure the propeller to the prop shaft.
• Install aft washer and tab washer before installing prop nut.
• Do not operate your engine or drive without the propeller nut in place.
• Prop nut is durable and corrosion resistant.
• To aid future propeller removal, grease prop shaft splines with Mercury 2-4-C or Mercury Special Lube 101
